Musical short tours invite the visitors to explore the collections with the audio guide and discover the art associatively and multisensory.

The Austrian classical philologist Stefan Hagel and colleagues play ancient Greek music on instruments, some of which they have reconstructed themselves.

For many centuries, figurines were made of fired clay in ancient Greece. Until recently, researchers regarded these clay figures as cheap, mass-produced goods of no great significance. And yet, these colourfully painted figures possessed the most startling, lifelike appearance. Today, however, it has been revealed that they always had an important function in ancient daily life.
