Lange Nacht der Museen Berlin 31.8.2019

Cancelled: Long Night of Museums Berlin on August 28, 2021

To our great regret, the Long Night of Museums cannot take place in 2021. Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, it is currently not possible to plan such a major event.

We cordially invite you to the Long Night of Museums on August 27th, 2022, during which, hopefully, everything will be possible again: spontaneous wandering off, popping in here and there and staying as long as you like, live events, workshops, surprising encounters and open doors everywhere.

Until then, we look forward to museum and exhibition visits, which will finally be possible again this summer. On the Museumsportal Berlin you can find out which museums will reopen when, which exhibitions are planned and in which museums you can also take part in tours and guided tours from home.

EUR 18, with concessions EUR 12, children under 12 have free admission.

Upon presentation of relevant ID, concessions are available for schoolchildren, apprenticeship trainees, students, participants in the federal voluntary service scheme, holders of the Berlinpass, benefit recipients and severely disabled persons together with their accompanying persons (ID card B).

Tickets are valid from 6 pm in all participating museums and on the shuttle buses, and from 3 pm to 5 am on Berlin public transport in fare zone ABC.

Shuttle buses are running on several routes to take you straight to the doors of most of the museums. The shuttle buses are suitable for wheelchairs. Of course you can also use public transport – it’s included in the price of the Long Night Ticket! You can use it to travel on the underground (U-Bahn), suburban railway (S-Bahn), trams and buses in fare zone ABC from 3 pm until 5 am. Children over 6 years of age who can visit the museums without a ticket in the Long Night will still need a ticket to use public transport.
