Since 2017, Renate Zander has been working experimentally with her photographic material, and the photographs clearly show their contextual link with the exhibition location, the PTM (Puppet Theatre Museum). The pictures on display in this exhibition reflect the playful interaction between the static facial expressions of puppets and dolls and the defamiliarisation effects created with experimental photography.
