The Lustgarten is where the heart of the Long Night is beating. Berlin DrumLine group BÄM! will be kicking things off musically before Governing Mayor Michael Müller officially opens the 38th Long Night of Museums at 6 pm. Neue Heimat will be providing energy for the evening with fresh street food from the Food Truck.
The rbb Morgenshow presenter Ingo Hoppe will take you through the evening. For all those who can’t be there, radioBerlin 88,8 will be broadcasting the opening live and bringing you coverage from the museums throughout the Long Night.
Music fans should get on their way even earlier – as part of its Open Building Site Day, the Humboldt Forum will be transmitting the benefit concert by the Berlin Philharmonic with conductor Kirill Petrenko from 4 to 6 pm.
From 11 pm we’ll invite you to dance with us in the Colonnade Courtyard (Kolonnadenhof) with indie and electro sounds from DJane Phoebe Killdeer of Radio KCRW; and there’ll be fine spirits from Brandstifter.
